
What are your qualifications?
I hold a Master’s degree in Biblical Counselling. I am a Counselling Therapist with the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
What approaches do you use?
The following approaches inform my practice:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Who do you work with?
I love to work with adults and seniors. I also facilitate adult grief support groups. If you are seeking counselling for children, adolescents or couples, I would be glad to refer you to other mental health professionals. Please feel free to book a 15-min free phone consultation with me to discuss how I may be of service to you.
What issues do you work with?
I focus on supporting clients to face grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transition or stress.
What is your fee for counselling?
The fee for a regular 50-minute counselling session is $190.00. Starting January 1, 2026, the fee will be $200.00. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please provide us with 24 hours cancellation notice or a regular session fee will be charged.
Are counselling sessions covered by my insurance?
Extended health care plans vary among employers. Please check with your insurance provider to determine coverage of counselling sessions provided by a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). If you have insurance coverage, you will need to submit the receipts to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Do you offer direct billing?
Unfortunately, direct billing is not offered at this time.
What method of payment do you accept?
Payment is due upon service rendered. E-transfer, debit, or credit card is accepted.
